About Imagine MUN

Model United Nations teaches youth peace skills such as research, global vision, negotiation, networking and how to reach consensus through caucusing

This is our first year and our goal is to make MUN available to all with an emphasis on the use of imagination in discussion of how to resolve world problems

UNGA is the main deliberative and policy making body of the United Nations and is crucial to the success of the Sustainable Development Goals

Review and propose solutions for the current climate crisis.

UN Women

What would the world be like if 50% of world leaders were women?

Founded by the General Assembly UN Women is a United Nations entity working for gender equality and the empowerment of women

The Intergovernmental Panel on Climate Change monitors and reports on climate change

Security Council

What is the common thread in current conflicts and some solutions?

The work of the Security Council is to keep peace in our world. Currently they are overseeing 12 peace keeping missions

UN DESA

What has your country innovated and what is it planning to focus on in the future?

UN DESA plays a global leadership role in advancing cooperation at the science-policy-society interface, and in multi-stakeholder engagement on science, technology and innovation for the SDGs, areas of work established through the Rio+20 conference and the 2030 Agenda for Sustainable Development.

What essential agreements we must keep going forward?

The Committee on the Peaceful Uses of Outer Space (COPUOS) was set up by the General Assembly in 1959 to govern the exploration and use of space for the benefit of all humanity: for peace, security and development.
